Ok, so I entered Josie into a photo contest on Parents.com- Grand prize... a trip to NY for a photo shoot and her picture on the cover of American Baby. Well... she did really well for awhile. On 9/16 her "boo boo lip" photo was the #3 top rated photo out of 29,112 photos submitted!!

Intro to Rice Cereal 101

Solids already??

This week has been very busy. Jay is trying to adjust to his crazy schedule of 2 jobs, school and a whole lot of studying which is proving to be very tough for the both of us. Me and Jose went to visit Grammy on Tuesday and my friend Michelle had her twins yesterday so we went to see them at the hospital. And then last night happened.... Josie cried for about 3 1/2 hours and was just completely miserable- she has been up every 2 hours at night for at least a week or two now and since she drools contantly and her hands (as well as everything else she can get a hold of) are always in her mouth, I was thinking that she may have started the teething process. I ended up calling her pediatrician last night because I wanted the ok to give her some tylenol since she seems to be in a lot of pain. Every single time she wakes up, she either groans and wimpers or screams until I can bounce her back to sleep. He said that it could actually be a few things. (she may have just caught a bug and this is how the syptoms are coming out) or she could have reflux or possibly cramps, but after a series of questions he suggested that I have her sleep upright for the night and we try introducing rice cereal tomorrow. So... I am off this morning to pick some up (along with a baby spoon cuz I don't have one) and we will be trying this assumingly messy task today. I'll post pictures! Haha
